For the construction supervision of an hydroelectric plant project in Ethiopia,

we are urgently looking for a:

Resident Project Manager

Assignment based at Works Site some 300 km south-west of Addis Ababa.

The duration of the contract will be 1 year, with possibility of extension for further 18 months

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of international experience construction supervision and contract management of works financed by international lending institutions, in connection with hydroelectric power plants or major infrastructures projects. Specific experience in supervision of tunnels constructed with TBM and of underground works.
• Good skill on contractual issue, claims, project scheduling, validation of contractor invoices, design review, project planning and monitoring.
• University degree in civil engineering.
• A sound knowledge of English language (speaking & writing) which is essential in dealing with the Client and with the Contractor.
