For the construction supervision of an hydroelectric plant project in Ethiopia,

we are urgently looking for a:

Resident Hydromechanical Supervisor

Assignment based in the Project Site in the Northern region of Ethiopia.

The duration of the contract will be 21 months, with possibility of extension

Requirements:

• A sound knowledge of English language (speaking & writing) is essential to prepare reports & letters and handling meetings
• 10 years of international experience in Supervision of the erection of hydromechanical equipment and verification of their conformity to the Employer’s Requirement
• Site supervision during the erection of the mechanical and hydromechanical equipment
• Quality control of the equipment at site
• Assistance to the Resident Engineer for the evaluation of claims
• Technical control over the as-built drawings relevant to the mechanical and hydromechanical equipment
• Technical control of the Operation and Maintenance Manuals issued by the Contractor
• Assistance in the organization and supervision of commissioning tests
