For the construction supervision of transmission project in Ethiopia,
we are urgently looking for a:
Resident Substation Engineer
Single status assignment based in Addis Ababa or at site, as it may be required.
The duration of the contract will be 6 month, with possibility of extension
Requirements:
- Technical or University degree in electrical engineering
- At least 10 years of international experience in HV Substation sector, particularly in HV 400 kV substations
- At least five years experience in international projects as substation engineer with expertise in construction supervision and commissioning activities- with African projects being an advantage
- Good skill on technical issue, erection supervision, design review, monitoring of progress and substation commissioning.
- A sound knowledge of English language (speaking & writing) is essential to prepare site reports & letters and attend coordination meetings
- Accustomed to work in team.
